What tools are out there for organizations to assess themselves outside of hiring an appraisal consultant in the likes of CMMI, IEEE, TMMI, etc.?

I am currently working for a small software company that would like to know where their testing organization sits in comparison to "industry".

I came across this tool by chance and was wondering if anyone had tried it and can provide input on the validity of the outcomes of this tool and if it ring true to others.

Hi, my company has recently decided it would be prudent to introduce software testing to all changes made by our development team and therefore created a testing department comprising of myself and one other.

My testing knowledge was very minimal so I have been sent on the ISEB foundation course to gain some knowledge and help to obtain information on expanding our testing department.
